Jammu, Sep 27: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh stated on Wednesday that Pakistan, like Punjab, is the mother of terrorism in the union territory.
He was in the Doda district for a day to open a police complex in Gandoh and assess the security situation in the hill zone.
“When militancy was active in Punjab, it affected some areas of Jammu and Kashmir.” After the end of militancy in Punjab, militancy in Kashmir began. “In both places, the mother of militancy is one,” Singh told reporters today.
“There are two militancies, but one is their mother, and that is Pakistan,” the DGP stated, adding that security forces are keeping a careful eye on militancy run by Pakistani agencies.
He stated that an operation to remove “residual militancy” is now underway. “I believe that everything will be fine in times to come.”
He stated that the inhabitants of Gandoh, Kishtwar, and Doda will be able to live in peace. “This is my prayer and this is our effort,” he stated.
