On Tuesday, a Special Police Officer (SPO) was discovered dead in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir. According to preliminary findings, the SPO likely died as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
SPO Khaliq Hussain’s body was found in a field near the village of Kankote, around 10 feet below the main road, along with his motorcycle, according to Station House Officer of Police Station, Poonch, Deepak Pathania.

Hussain, who was assigned to the Poonch district police lines, had sustained brain injuries, according to him, and initial evidence points to a fatal car accident as the cause of his death.
The official stated that the deceased’s body was transferred to Poonch District Hospital for a postmortem and that police have begun an inquest.
